The Henderson Police Department's jurisdiction is divided into 4 patrol zones. Captain Perry L. Twisdale oversees the daily operations of the Operations Division. The Operations Division is often referred to as the back bone of the department. Officers assigned to this division are the first to respond to many incidents in the city. They handle a wide variety of calls for service. Some of those calls include taking reports, follow up to complaints regarding neighborhood problems, accident investigation, serving court paperwork, motor vehicle enforcement and many others. The department responds to over 30,000 calls for service each year. We are the largest division within our organization staffed with more than 37 police officers. Patrol is comprised of five squads which consist of a Captain, five Lieutenants, five Sergeants, four canine teams, and over 26 patrol officers. The Operations Division is also responsible for the Specialized Units such as the Power Shift, SWAT Team, Bicycle Unit and the Reserves Unit. Please click on the images below to learn more...
